To create this image, composited from several images with standard image manipulation techniques, I prompted for synthograms using styles of Kilmt and Miro to express the rhythmic drive of Philip Glass' music.

The portrait-format abstraction conveys a deeper layer of abstraction as it runs counter to the atavistic landscape view. The Steel series in portrait format offer light turned around, turned upside down or spaces suggestive of direction, or its lack. This indeterminacy opens the door to imagination, play of ideas and the freedom to roam visually that makes the work subliminally ideal for tech, innovative spaces.
