This album was born out of reflection.

As I was approaching 30 I started to look back on where it all began - 10 years ago in Bristol, where I’d gone to chase this music dream - and everything that led up to that. I wanted to tell that story.

YESTERDAY, WHEN EVERYTHING WAS TEMPORARY is about the journey from one stage of life to the next. When you’re moving on to what comes after, you get a different perspective on what came before.

The hard lessons and growing pains, the ignorance (& bliss) of short sightedness.

But also the hope. The wide eyed perspective and determination to keep pushing.

It’s about dealing with loss in all of its stages. It’s the s**t you can only go through when you’re ready to accept what’s happened and what that means going forward.

Launching this album with the exhibition and ‘s artwork made directly in response to those themes is the coolest thing I’ve ever done with a release. It wouldn’t feel the right if we just dropped one song at a time.

So the whole project will drop at once.
