I had to do at least SOME cookies for Christmas! This year has been far less sweet than intended but I’m still sneaking in a few baking sessions when I can. Pulled out my cutters for this quick Christmas cuties.

Of course I was going to make cookies from this book! Illustrating The Perfect Cake was a super challenging but rewarding experience. I had to shake off the cobwebs and basically trust myself to draw again. In the end, I’m so happy to see Lil’ Yo come to life. In book form and now in cookies. 😝

The Perfect Cake, is launching on October 11th! This children's book by the incredible is a charming story AND recipe book teaching valuable lessons about baking, hard work, and taking risks. And I had the pleasure of illustrating it!
