Parvovirus causes severe disease and is the leading killer of puppies in New Zealand. The virus is highly contagious and very common in areas with low vaccination rates. If your puppy or young dog is not vaccinated, the chances of picking up the virus are very high. Please have your puppy vaccinated to protect them and help stop the spread of the virus.
