Apple has launched the iPhone 6 and there are two models, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Here we explain everything you need to know about the new smartphone.

iPhone 6: Release date and pre-orders

You'll be able to get your hands on the iPhone 6 on September 19th in the UK and pre-order from the 12th. That's the same date as the US, so there's no waiting around for a delayed UK release. The iPhone 6 is now up for pre-order but unless you got in there quickly, you'll be looking at a lengthy wait for your new smartphone. Apple has announced that it received four million orders for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in the first 24 hours - twice that of the iPhone 5s. All of the models, apart from the silver 16GB iPhone 6 state a delivery of 3-4 weeks on Apple's UK store.
