With the support of IOM Nepal, a workshop on issues, challenges, and way forward of foreign employment cases has successfully organized by People Forum on 28 November 2025. Representatives from judicial bodies related to foreign employment/human trafficking, government agencies, donor agencies, non-governmental organizations, journalists, and victims were participated at the program. The workshop has highlighted challenges in cases and identified way-forward for coming days.

On June 25, 2025, the Orientation for Lawyers on Pro Bono Legal Services for the Protection of Migrant Workers in Foreign Employment was successfully held for the lawyers of the Nepal Bar Association Janakpurdham at the Bar Hall Janakpurdham, Dhanusa. The event gathered participants to discuss ways to ensure justice and provide support for victims of foreign employment. It concluded with the adoption of the Janakpurdham Declaration which strengthen commitment for pro bono legal service to migrant worker's. The program was organized by People Forum for Human Rights, coordinated by the Nepal Bar Association Janakpurdham and supported by IOM Nepal .

Successful conducted of the 35th Coordination Meeting with Justice Agencies of Foreign Employment, held on June 13, 2025,Organized by People Forum and Supported by IOM Nepal The meeting was chaired by Judge Gokarna Dangi, Chairperson of the Foreign Employment Tribunal.

This important gathering brought together key stakeholders to discuss strategies for strengthening coordination among agencies, with a shared commitment to ensuring justice and support for victims of foreign employment.

Together, we are working towards a more just and supportive environment for all foreign employment stakeholders.
