In the Picture: The Dumbbell Nebula (M 27, NGC 6853)
The Dumbbell Nebula (also known as the Apple Core Nebula, Messier 27, and NGC 6853) is a planetary nebula (nebulosity surrounding a white dwarf) in the constellation Vulpecula, at a distance of about 1360 light-years.
Equipment Used:
Redcat 71 Refractor Telescope, Celestron AVX Goto Mount, Canon EOS 500D - Main Camera, ZWO 30F4 Guide scope, ZWO ASI120MC-S Guide Camera, ZWO ASIAIR Plus and Samsung Galaxy Tab S7.
Image Details: 40 Light Frames of 120 Seconds each at ISO 800; 10 Dark Frames; 30 Biased Frames; 20 Flat Frames, stacked in ASTAP and processed in Adobe Photoshop. Image is taken from New Baneshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal on October 15th, 2025.
Image capturing+stacking+processing took around 5 hours.

NGC 2244 (also known as Caldwell 50 or the Satellite Cluster) is an open cluster in the Rosette Nebula, which is located in the constellation Monoceros.
Image Details: 25 Light Frames of 120 Seconds each at ISO 800; 15 Dark Frames; 10 Flat Frames and 10 Bias Frames stacked in Deep Sky Stacker and processed in Adobe Photoshop. Image is taken from New Baneshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal on October 25th, 2022.
Image (capturing + stacking + processing) took around 9 hours.
