Winter relief distributed to vulnerable families in Rautahat ❄️🤝

Winter relief materials have been distributed to cold-wave-affected vulnerable families in Durga Bhagwati Rural Municipality, Rautahat. With the financial and technical support of Islamic Relief Worldwide and organized by Campaign Nepal (Campaign Nepal Research for Development), winterization support was provided to 536 households from Wards 01, 02, 04, and 05.

Each targeted family received winter relief materials worth NPR 6,460, including high-quality fiber blankets, shawls, socks, and foam mats to help protect them from the cold.

During the distribution programme, the Chairperson of Durga Bhagwati Rural Municipality, Mr. Shambhu Kumar Singh, appreciated the role of non-governmental organizations during times of disaster. He emphasized that identifying genuine beneficiaries and delivering winter materials directly to vulnerable households provides significant relief to poor and marginalized communities.
