She served as the group's vocalist and also played tambourine. Lou debuted in The Muppet Show episode 208, and would appear periodically throughout the run of the series, often paired with Slim Wilson. She was featured on the albums The Muppet Show 2 (singing "Borneo"), and The Muppet Show Music Album (as a lead on "Henrietta's Wedding.")
