ROME MARATHON 🇮🇹 - 3:35’:14” 🏃🏽‍♀️🥇🔥. I still cannot believe I finish it and with a better time than I could even imagine this morning!!!

My legs did so well despite the injury & despite the lack of training in the last 5 weeks. I was really well on track for a sub 3h30 but unfortunately I did struggle with knees from km 37 and ended up hitting the wall. Km39 to km 42 is a blur but I didn’t give up until I crossed the finish line.

you were absolutely beautiful! Thank you to everyone cheering me at home and on the streets of Rome and above all to my amazing .nixon.336 for being my biggest cheerleader.

This song got me very emotional at km15. I forgot I had it in my playlist. It reminded of home 🇪🇸 when I was 20 ish & one of my best friends & I used to do Italian lessons. We had big dreams by then... , ésta va por ti 😘
