As a muslim in Manilla, you can’t go out on the streets unless you have a gun. We are visiting Mohammed, a 27-year old, homosexual muslim whom fled from Mindanao. Along with a great number of other muslims, he lives in the ‘muslim slums’ on the outskirts of Manilla. Mohammed takes precautions against this, like shaving of his beard and dressing discrete.
