This week, our colleagues Bibi and Jan Willem are present at American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) 2026 together with our American distributor Electra-Med Corporation at Booth 108.

From the exhibition floor to the future of cardiac MRI.

Last week, we attended ISMRM 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa. From our booth, we welcomed many visitors and had valuable conversations about the application of our MRI solutions in cardiovascular diagnostics and exercise testing.

During the congress, we were also joined by our South African distributor Lifemax. Together, we had the pleasure of meeting professionals from across the international MRI community.

In addition to the many discussions on the exhibition floor, we also had the opportunity to speak with several MRI scanner manufacturers, allowing us to stay fully up to date with the latest developments in the MRI field. Furthermore, we were able to visit a local hospital, which provided valuable additional insights during our visit.

Overall, we look back on a very successful week in South Africa. We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth and we look forward to continuing existing collaborations and building new connections.

Connecting with the future of cardiology

Recently, our colleagues attended the ESC Preventive Cardiology congress in Ljubljana.

During the congress, the latest developments in (preventive) cardiology were highlighted. Topics such as CPET, the 6-minute walking test, cardiac imaging, and cardiac rehabilitation, including aerobic training, were extensively discussed.

A valuable opportunity to gain new insights. It was also great to see how our solutions (can) play a role within cardiology. We look back on an interesting congress with many valuable conversations.

From May 9 till May 14, our colleagues Aafko Roggema and Jiska Kempen will attend ISMRM in Cape Town, South Africa. The ISMRM congress is one of the most important international conferences focused on magnetic resonance in medicine.

Lode will attend the ISMRM with a booth to showcase the Lode MR Ergometer. The MR Ergometer is specifically designed for use in the MRI environment, enabling safe, controlled, and reproducible exercise testing within the scanner. This innovative solution enables physiological exercise during cardiac MRI, supporting clinically relevant cardiovascular diagnostics.

The Lode MR ergometer is compatible with major MRI systems and is already in use at various research centers and hospitals worldwide.
