What is an email marketing?
I hear a lot of misconceptions about email marketing. Company owners think that "email marketing" is just sending out newsletters with company promotions or updates once or twice a month.
Email marketing is much more than that!
It is also about delivering value to your prospects by educating them about your offer, by getting acquainted with your company. By constantly reminding about yourself and showing that you are the only company which is eager to make your prospect's lives better.
Email marketing is about building relationships with your prospects and maintaining relationships with your clients/customers. It is also about moving your prospects along the customer value journey and turning them into clients/customers and promoters of your brand.
Business has long ago become more than just a 1-time transaction.

Have you ever had this feeling when you don't feel comfortable with a client?
You do everything right, you say the right things but something is off. And you feel drained after the interaction.
I had it. I spoke up. I explained myself. I asked for a change. And i was getting what I wanted. But something was still wrong. I didn't get any satisfaction from the relationship with a client. I felt "used". I knew that this was not how it should have been. No one was wrong in this situation, my client was just not my target client.
As Joe Polish says, business should be E.L.F. (Easy, Lucrative and Fun), but not H.A.L.F. (Hard, Annoying, Lame, and Frustrating). I want to strive for E.L.F.
One of the parts of E.L.F. business is to know your target audience. To know who you can benefit and who can benefit you. And have more of clients like this!
