This Friday, June 13, marks the final day of Growing Over, and we want to celebrate this milestone together with you.

From 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, we’ll host a dynamic panel discussion featuring designers from Sectie-C and other makers. We’ll explore the current challenges facing Eindhoven’s vibrant creative scene. Think about pressing topics like the disappearance of affordable studio spaces, the hardening of creative systems, and the crucial question of how to maintain ownership in our rapidly evolving city. Where are we headed as young makers? And how do we create space when it keeps shrinking?

Following the inspiring panel, you’re invited to join us for a wonderful dinner inside the exhibition space itself from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM!

Growing Over is a heartfelt tribute to young designers who are not merely responding to barriers but actively building new forms of ownership, value, and place within the design world.

Meet Reiko Ohta!


Reiko Ohta is a dancer and a choreographer originally from Japan. She completed her training and education in contemporary dance at Codarts Rotterdam University of the Arts. After her graduation in 2020, she has been freelancing internationally.
