The series aims to highlight musicians from diverse backgrounds- everything from traditional acoustic genres to avant-garde electronic music- in the hopes of inspiring new forms of artistic expression. Sound Out is housed at 8sixA, which is located at NDSM in Amsterdam.

.as is a Rotterdam based artist, navigating through the variety of genres. Best known as a bass player in various jazz related projects, in 2021 he started a solo project, which was heavily inspired by Indian classical music and ambient. After releasing his EP “Hidden Variables” he then drifted further away into electronic music and will release first single under the artist name Ondo in the end of December 2022.
