π΄ 1966 Chevrolet C10 Pickup π΄
The 1966 Chevrolet C10 is a classic half-ton, two-wheel-drive truck from the final year of the first-generation C/K series.
It features a sleek, rounded body design that helped define Chevy trucks of the 1960s.
Independent front suspension gave it a smoother ride compared to earlier solid-axle trucks.
Many models came with the signature wood bed floor, adding vintage charm and craftsmanship.
Engine options typically included the 250 inline-six or the 283 V8, both known for reliability.
Its low stance and clean lines make it a favorite for restorations and custom builds.
The 1966 model year is especially collectible because it represents the refinement of the early C/K era.
Interior styling was simple but durable, with a classic metal dashboard and wide bench seat.
These trucks are often seen in bright colors like red, enhancing their nostalgic appeal.
Today, a well-kept first-gen C10 often sells around $39,340, reflecting growing demand among collectors.

This is a custom 1953 Muntz Jet Convertible, a rare and distinctive American "personal luxury" car from the early 1950s. Only about 198 of these vehicles were ever produced, with an estimated 50 to 130 still in existence today.
The Muntz Jet was the brainchild of flamboyant entrepreneur and electronics retailer Earl "Madman" Muntz, who purchased the design rights to the two-seat Kurtis Kraft Sport Car (KSC) from race car builder Frank Kurtis in 1950. Muntz then stretched the car's wheelbase by 13 inches to accommodate a rear seat, creating a four-seater luxury convertible.
Early models were powered by a Cadillac V8 engine, later replaced by a less expensive Lincoln side-valve V8 to cut costs. The car was considered fast for its time, with an official top speed of around 112 mph.

1951 Studebaker Manta Ray concept car
The 1951 Studebaker Manta Ray is a unique, one-off custom car built by two aircraft designers that never went into mass production. Its design was heavily inspired by the "jet age" and aerospace aesthetics.
Design and Construction
The Manta Ray was the brainchild of two North American Aviation Company employees, Glenn Hire and Vernon Antoine, who worked in the guided missile and jet aircraft divisions.
Inspiration: The design was influenced by the contemporary jet aircraft (specifically the F-86 Sabre jet intake) and the 1951 GM LeSabre concept car, with a goal of creating a fighter jet-like automobile.
Body: The body was hand-crafted from 14 sections of fiberglass, an innovative material for the time, and fitted onto a shortened 1951 Studebaker Commander chassis.
Distinctive Features: Key styling elements include a prominent center turbine-like grille nosecone, and three tail fins at the rear. The taillights were sourced from a 1952 Lincoln, and the interior featured a 1953 Lincoln steering wheel.
Production Plans: Hire and Antoine hoped to put the Manta Ray into limited production, but only the single prototype was ever built.
