You Say God Doesn’t Play About You—But Do You Play About Him?
A Wake-Up Call to Lukewarm Christianity
We live in a generation where people boldly declare:
“God don’t play about me.”
“I’m God’s favorite.”
“Small girl with a big God.”
“I’m Jesus boy.”
But heaven is asking: Do you play about God?
Because while you call Him “Abba” in the morning, you deny Him with your lifestyle by noon.
You want His protection but not His correction.
You want His promises but not His process.
You want His covering but not His covenant.

When Comfort Replaces Conviction
Many believers today have settled into convenient Christianity—where God’s name is worn like a fashion accessory, but His cross is never carried.
We curate perfect social media pictures of “Bible study,” highlighting verses we never meditate on or obey.
We post videos of ourselves “praying in tongues,” yet in secret we don’t pray at all.
We caption photos with scripture, but our conversations drip with gossip, compromise, and unforgiveness.
In this digital age, “spirituality” is marketed like fashion or real estate. Platforms have become pulpits, but motives are no longer about souls—they’re about clicks, followers, and profit.
“…men of corrupt mind, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.” – 1 Timothy 6:5
And Jesus is not fooled by lip service:
“These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me.” – Matthew 15:8
This is not condemnation—it’s a call to awaken. God is seeking lovers, not users. He desires a bride, not actors rehearsing spirituality for validation.

The Danger of Being Lukewarm
“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. … So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” – Revelation 3:15–16
Lukewarm faith grieves God.
You say you belong to Him but still flirt with the world.
“Do not love the world or the things in the world. … For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.” – 1 John 2:15–16
You lift your hands on Sunday, but live in secret sin all week.
You want heaven, but refuse holiness.
Beloved, God doesn’t want perfection—He wants repentance.
He doesn’t need performance—He wants your heart.
Holiness is not outdated—it is the fragrance of true love for Him.

Final Charge
Don’t let culture numb your spirit.
Don’t confuse curation with consecration.
Don’t play with the sacred.
Jesus didn’t die for algorithms or aesthetics—He died to make you His own.
If you truly believe “God doesn’t play about you,” then live like you don’t play about Him either.

Prayers for Returning to Your First Love
1. Prayer of Repentance & Rededication
“Lord, I confess that I’ve claimed You with my lips but denied You with my life. Forgive me for treating Your presence casually and grace carelessly. Today, I return to You with my whole heart. Rekindle my fire. Break every chain of lukewarmness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
2. Prayer for Passion & Holiness
“Jesus, teach me to tremble at Your Word again. Let me hunger for righteousness more than relevance. Burn away every appetite for performance and hypocrisy. Let my secret life and public witness reflect Your glory. Amen.”

Declarations of Full Surrender
I will not curate spirituality—I will cultivate intimacy.

I am done playing with grace—I choose to live for His glory.

My lifestyle will preach louder than my captions.

I surrender comfort for conviction.

I burn for Jesus—privately and publicly.

I return to my first love and rekindle my fire for God.

I am not lukewarm—I am sold out for Christ.

October Assignment: Anchor Your Life on the Word

As October begins, don’t just walk into the month casually—walk in with the Word of God as your weapon and foundation.

Here’s your prophetic assignment:
Identify five areas of concern in your life—your finances, health, family, marriage, and education (or career).
For each area, write down at least three scriptures that declare God’s promises concerning it.

Pray with those scriptures daily this month, declaring them until they become your reality.
The Word works—but only when it is applied! As you do this, expect transformation, restoration, and testimonies.

Examples:
Finances: “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth…” (Deut. 8:18)

Health: “…by His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)

Family: “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)

Marriage: “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” (Mark 10:9)

Education/Career: “…and Daniel was found ten times better than all…” (Daniel 1:20)

This is not just an exercise—it is a covenant practice. Anchor your month in the Word, and you will watch your life align with God’s promises.
This October, let the Word of God be your strategy for victory!

Church Is Not Just for the Needy: Staying Rooted in God’s Presence

When you take a fish out of water, it dies. When you uproot a tree from the soil, it withers away. In the same way, when man is taken out of the presence of God, he begins to die spiritually — because God’s presence is our true habitation.

Sadly, in our generation, many people have reduced the idea of “church” to a place of running only when they have a crisis, need healing, or desire a miracle. Some even say, “I stopped going to church when I realized my problem isn’t spiritual.” While this may sound logical, it reveals a dangerous misunderstanding of what the church truly is.

And the truth is, we cannot wholly blame those who think this way. Too many pulpits today focus their teachings solely on miracles, material breakthroughs, and petitions — always asking God for something instead of teaching believers to seek His face, love Him for who He is, and worship in thanksgiving.

But church is not just a “problem-solving center.”
Church: The Place of Fellowship and Growth
The house of God is not only for the poor, the broken, or the sick. It is also for the strong, the influential, the wealthy, and the content — because everyone needs fellowship, accountability, and the strengthening atmosphere of God’s presence.

Church is where believers grow in faith (Romans 10:17).
It is where the body of Christ edifies one another (Hebrews 10:24–25).
It is where worship rises corporately to the throne of God (Psalm 95:6).
It is where truth is taught, faith is nurtured, and disciples are raised (Acts 2:42).

Even kings, presidents, and people of influence gather in churches worldwide — not because they are poor or in need of miracles, but because they understand that true greatness bows in worship before God.

Why I Go to Church
I don’t go to church because I have a spiritual problem. I go to church because:
I love being in the presence of my Maker.
I want to join the saints in thanksgiving, praise, and worship.
I desire to grow deeper in knowledge of God’s Word.
I want to remain rooted in Christ through fellowship.

What Is the Church? A Call Back to Truth In our generation, many have forgotten what the church truly is. The church is not a place you go to feel good about yourself. It is not a stage for motivational speeches or a hall for endless affirmations. The church is where you are confronted with the reality of your sin and reminded of your desperate need for the cross. It is where correction comes before comfort, and where holiness is exalted above hype.“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.” – 2 Timothy 4:3The Problem With Modern ChristianityIn many churches today, sermons sound more like pep talks: “You’re amazing. You’re awesome. You’re the best thing that ever happened.”But friend, if you were already perfect, you would not need a Savior. This is why church attendance has declined sharply in the last 30 years—because when people walk into church and hear the same self-centered messages they hear in the world, they see no difference, no urgency, no need for repentance.Modern campaigns like “He Gets Us” may sound compassionate, but in reality, they often water down the Gospel. Jesus did not come to “get” us in our sin—He came to save us from it.What the Church Must BeThe true church is:A house of truth, not flattery.A place of repentance, not performance.A sanctuary of correction, not comfort zones.A training ground for disciples, not a stage for celebrities.Jesus did not die to affirm our rebellion; He died to redeem us from it.He doesn’t “get” you in the middle of your sin—whether it’s po*******hy, drunkenness, fornication, abortion, or neglect of family. Instead, He calls you to turn away, repent, and be transformed by His blood. The Call to ReturnThe church must return to her assignment: to proclaim the whole counsel of God—sin, righteousness, judgment, grace, mercy, and salvation. When the church loses the cross, it loses its power. When the church loses repentance, it loses revival. When the church loses truth, it loses Christ. It’s time to stop chasing applause and start preaching the Gospel again.Declaration:Lord, restore Your church to truth and holiness. Use me to stand for the Gospel, not for the applause of men. I will not be deceived by watered-down Christianity. I choose the cross, repentance, and righteousness in Jesus’ name.📖 “Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.” – Acts 3:19

Invading the Virtual Space with the Light of Christ

The other day while scrolling through Instagram, I came across a video by Prophet Joel Ogebe (). In that video, he shared how the Holy Spirit prompted him to buy a VR headset — not for leisure, but for revelation. What he encountered inside those virtual spaces was far darker than he imagined. He spoke of the shocking things he saw: young teenagers immersed in worlds filled with lust, profanity, violence, and rebellion against God.

That video struck me deeply, and it opened my eyes to a reality many of us overlook. The world is evolving rapidly, and with it, the battle for souls has shifted into new territories. Darkness no longer hides; it has built cathedrals in virtual spaces, online games, VR headsets, and streaming platforms.

The world is rapidly evolving, and with it, the battle for the souls of men has intensified. We now live in a generation where sin, corruption, and darkness are no longer hidden in the shadows but are celebrated openly in new realms — virtual worlds, VR headsets, online gaming communities, and streaming platforms.

What once seemed like harmless entertainment is now a mission field — a space where the devil has deployed his own “evangelists,” pushing ideologies, perversions, and patterns of rebellion into the hearts of millions of young, impressionable souls.

The Subtle Snare of Virtual Realities
VR (Virtual Reality) and online games like Rec Room, Call of Duty, or live-streaming platforms like Twitch have become more than just hobbies. They are gateways — digital altars — where imagination becomes reality, and sin becomes solidified.
Young teenagers are not only playing games; they are being discipled. Violence, lust, profanity, occult imagery, and rebellion against God are normalized in these virtual arenas. It is no coincidence. The enemy has found a way to indoctrinate malleable minds by giving them a “tangible feel” of iniquity.
📖 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” — Ephesians 6:12

World Su***de Prevention Day – You Are Not Alone

Today, September 10th, is World Su***de Prevention Day — a reminder to the world that every life matters, and every soul carries eternal value.
Su***de is not just a statistic; it’s a silent battle many are fighting behind closed doors. Depression, anxiety, loneliness, and hopelessness whisper lies that life isn’t worth living. But here’s the truth: Your life is worth more than you can ever imagine.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

A Word of Hope
You are not an accident.
You are not forgotten.
You are not beyond repair.
God still has a plan for you.

Darkness screams “end it.”
But Heaven whispers “live on.”
Let’s Stand Together

If you are struggling today:
Reach out to a friend, a pastor, or a counselor.
Call a helpline in your country.
Don’t suffer in silence—there is help, there is hope.

If you know someone struggling:
Check in on them.
Speak words of life.
Be the light they need in their darkest moment.

Prayer
Lord, we lift up everyone battling depression, loneliness, and suicidal thoughts. Break the chains of despair. Flood their hearts with Your peace and show them that their story is not over. Let Your light swallow every darkness in their lives.

Declaration
I choose life.
I choose hope.
I choose to walk in the purpose God has for me.
I shall live and not die, and declare the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17).

The illuminEarth Moral Creed – Let Your Light Shine!

Every family needs a foundation, and every movement needs a code that guides its path. For us at illuminEarth, that foundation is the Word of God.
In a world filled with noise, confusion, and compromise, we stand firmly upon the Scriptures, allowing God’s truth to shape our values, our choices, and our destiny. This is not just a creed on paper—it is the heartbeat of who we are as a family of light.

Our Identity
We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. God has set us apart to shine His light in the midst of darkness and to declare His glory to the nations (1 Peter 2:9).

Our Creed in Action
We believe in God’s Word as final authority.
We walk in love as the greatest commandment.
We pursue holiness, for without it no one will see the Lord.
We live with integrity, walking in truth before God and man.
We shine as lights in darkness, unashamed of the Gospel.
We value unity and peace, striving to keep the bond of the Spirit.
We pursue wisdom and understanding, seeking God above all else.
We live as stewards, not owners—managing what belongs to God.
We stand in faith and prayer, knowing heaven responds when we call.
We await eternal glory, setting our minds on things above.

This creed is more than words—it is a daily commitment to live as salt and light, showing the world that Christ is alive in us.

Our Declaration
We are illuminEarth—
A family of light, truth, and love.
Rooted in Christ, unashamed of the Gospel.
Carriers of revival, salt to the earth, and light to the nations.
Living to glorify Jesus until the world sees His Kingdom come.
“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)

Call to Action
Family, let this creed not just be words on a carousel or pages in a document. Let it be written on the tablets of our hearts. May it shape the way we speak, act, love, and live.
Together, we shine brighter. Together, we are illuminEarth.
