It was a privilege to participate in the maiden Women in Rotary Maternal and Child Health Project organized by the Enugu Women in Rotary as part of the District 9142 activities in Enugu.

Held at the New Haven Health Centre, the project brought together dedicated women committed to improving the health and well-being of mothers and children within our communities. Through service, compassion, and collective action, we demonstrated Rotary's unwavering commitment to creating lasting impact where it matters most.

As the Akwa Ibom State Women in Rotary Representative, I was inspired by the passion, unity, and determination of the women who continue to champion meaningful change through service above self.

Together, we shine. Together, we transform communities. Together, we build a healthier future for mothers and children.

The first Sunday of July 2026 was marked by a remarkable outpouring of God's presence as His Divine Redeemed World Ministries gathered for its Combined and Holy Communion Service.

Presiding over the service, the Founder and Lead Pastor, Apostle Dr. Elijah Jack, delivered a powerful message on the theme

"Your Root Determines Your Fruit."

He declared that no lasting success, ministry, family, or destiny can stand without a solid foundation rooted in Jesus Christ. Using biblical examples, he stressed that many struggles in life can be traced to faulty foundations, while those who build on God's Word, obedience, holiness, and unwavering faith will remain unshaken regardless of life's storms.

He challenged believers to return to the fundamentals of Christianity and intentionally build lives that glorify God.

The Holy Communion session crowned the service as worshippers renewed their covenant with Christ, received prophetic prayers, and declared July a month of divine establishment, supernatural favour, and uncommon breakthroughs.

The service ended with renewed faith and confidence that those whose foundations are firmly established in Christ will experience lasting victory and the fulfilment of God's promises.

As we enter this new month, I sincerely thank God for His grace, protection, and faithfulness that have sustained us throughout the year.

July marks another opportunity to reflect on our progress, renew our commitment to excellence, and pursue our goals with greater determination.

At the Maurid Group of Schools, we remain steadfast in our mission of providing quality education, nurturing innovation, and building future leaders who will make meaningful contributions to society. I encourage our students to remain focused on their studies, our staff to continue their dedication to academic excellence, and our parents to remain valued partners in the educational journey of our children.

As the Holy Scripture reminds us, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans" (Proverbs 16:3). May this month bring renewed strength, wisdom, favour, good health, and outstanding achievements to every member of the Maurid family.
