100 MEMBERS OF ALBINISM ASSOCIATION RECEIVE RICE, CASH DONATIONS FROM FIRST LADY

One hundred members of the Albinism Association of Nigeria, Abia State Chapter have received bags of rice and cash donation of ₦50,000 each in support of their livelihood and wellbeing.

The largesse was also expanded to include 300 persons living with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and AIDS, as well as sickle cell warriors in the state, who also received bags of rice and ₦50,000 each as part of the humanitarian support.

The donations were extended to the beneficiaries by the Abia state government, through the Office of the Wife of the Governor, as part of its broader and sustained commitment to the welfare of vulnerable groups.

Wife of the Governor, Mrs. Priscilla Chidinma Otti said that the intervention was driven by compassion and a firm belief that governance must be humane, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of the most vulnerable in the society.
