The major difference between the rich and the poor is internal. Being rich is a matter of the heart. Zig Ziglar once said: "For us to do things the way we have always done them, and to expect different results is one of the definitions of insanity."

If you keep doing the same things while expecting different results, you are simply going round in circles. To be rich, you must change your thinking, your emotions, your vision, your confessions and your actions.

THE PURPOSE OF WEALTH (6)
The Bible tells us a story of a man who made the big mistake of thinking it was his in Luke 12:19-21

His farm brought forth plentifully and he said to himself, " what will I do now?" He said "I will pull down my barns and build bigger ones and then I will store all my crops and my goods then I will say to my soul, soul eat drink and be merry," that night the Lord spoke to him and said, " You fool, tonight your soul will be required of you then whose will all those things be that you stacked up?" Jesus concluded the story: " so is everyone who is rich towards himself and not towards God" (Vs 21).

Notice from the passage that there was no God in his speech. Everything was his: the barns, the crops,, and the goods. He even said his soul was his own. That was when God decided to take his soul to see who would own everything he had acquired. To be continued....
