Happy Sunday, beautiful family! ❤️
I’ve always told you that giving is one of the purest ways to show love. It goes beyond money—it could be your time, your kindness, your prayers, your support, or even sharing a meal with someone. Every act of genuine giving reflects the heart of God.
Today being Sunday, if you’re still wondering how to make a difference, start by giving from what you have. You may never fully know how much your generosity means to someone else.
Now, let’s have a little Sunday fun! 😄
If this delicious meal just popped up on your timeline, consider it a virtual invitation. 🍛🍗🍌 Tell me in the comments👇🏽 what are you bringing to the table? Or better still, share a plate with me. 😋
Remember, love grows when it’s shared, and giving is one of its most beautiful expressions.
Happy Sunday, and may your week be filled with abundance, joy, and hearts willing to give. ❤️

If you’ve ever heard these words or experienced them yourself, my heart goes out to you. Losing a pregnancy is one of the most painful experiences a woman can go through, and many women are left asking, “What did I do wrong?”
The truth is, most of the time, it is not your fault.
Medically, this is often called a Missed Miscarriage (Missed Abortion) or Early Pregnancy Loss. It happens when the embryo or fetus stops developing, but the pregnancy tissue remains inside the uterus. A Dilation and Curettage (D&C) may be recommended to safely remove the pregnancy tissue and help prevent complications.
What can cause a fetus to stop developing?
Some of the most common causes include:
👉🏼Chromosomal abnormalities – This is the most common cause, especially in the first trimester. The baby develops with genetic changes that are not compatible with life.
👉🏼Hormonal problems – Such as low progesterone in some cases or uncontrolled thyroid disorders.
👉🏼Poorly controlled medical conditions – Like diabetes or certain autoimmune diseases.
👉🏼Infections – Some infections during pregnancy can affect fetal development.
👉🏼Problems with the uterus – Fibroids, uterine abnormalities, or severe scarring may sometimes play a role.
👉🏼Placental development problems – When the placenta doesn’t develop properly, the pregnancy may not continue.
Can it be prevented?
Unfortunately, not every miscarriage can be prevented, especially those caused by chromosomal abnormalities. However, some risks can be reduced by:
👉🏼Taking folic acid before and during pregnancy.
👉🏼 Managing chronic health conditions before conception.
👉🏼Attending early antenatal care.
👉🏼Avoiding smoking, excessive alcohol, and harmful substances.
👉🏼Treating infections promptly and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Will it happen again?
One miscarriage does not mean you’ll continue to lose pregnancies. In fact, most women go on to have healthy pregnancies afterward.
If you’ve had two or more consecutive pregnancy losses, your doctor may recommend further investigations to look for treatable causes before your next pregnancy.
If you’re grieving a pregnancy loss today, please remember: You are not alone, and there is hope. Healing takes time, and many women who have experienced this heartbreak later welcome healthy babies into their families.
