I’m excited to share that I’ve received my US-printed copy of my new children’s book, When I Read at Home! 💃📚

Holding this book in my hands is deeply emotional. It reminds me of my humble beginnings; standing in shopping store car parks, introducing my books to families, and passionately sharing the value they could bring to their children. 🥹

Today, I’m grateful to say that the story has changed. My books are now on the shelves of nearly 20 stores across Nigeria, and also available on Amazon.

This particular copy was printed in the United States, Cleveland, OH, on the 19th of March 2026, making this moment even more special and memorable. 🇺🇸

This milestone is more than a personal achievement; it’s a testament to growth, consistency, and God’s grace. Only God can lift someone from the ground and place them in positions of honour. 💃

I am truly honoured to be part of a community of educational leaders creating impactful children’s books for both schools and homes.

I’m Esther Okoye, an African educational storybook creator on a mission to use storytelling as a tool to inspire positive change and provide solutions for children and families.

Please celebrate this milestone with me! 🎉

It's my birthday today! 😍🎂🎈

And it’s even more special because today women all over the world are celebrated on International Women's Day.

I’m excited for this next chapter of my life...

A chapter where I continue evolving into the woman I was created to be.

A chapter where I will keep giving in order to grow and gain.

Thank you, Lord, for the gift of life and for the opportunity to live, learn, and grow. 🪴

Happy birthday to me, and happy International Women’s Day! 🎈🎂❤️😍

It is because of our deep love for our readers that we continue to pour our hearts into books that leave them smiling from page to page.

While writing When I Read at Home, love was woven into every word and every line. My greatest desire was to see families intentionally support their children by building a strong reading culture at home. That vision shaped every chapter of this bright and meaningful book.

From me, my brand, and the spirit of love that inspires all we do, I wish you a beautiful and joy-filled Valentine’s Day.

Copies of When I Read at Home are available at Jendol Stores across Lagos.
