Why the Ashes?

ii. A sign given to remember that we are humanity *(From dust to dust). Gen 3:19
iii. A sign of belonging and true soldier of *Christ*.
iv. A sign of our state in *Christ*, imperfect being saved by grace.

A special throwback to July 2024 🎶
This moment means a lot to me. On this day, I had the privilege of singing alongside my MD Christian Chidiebere, and my boss in keyboard Dedan Denham. The song is “Who Shall Intercede For Us” — and what makes it even more special is that it was the organist’s very first time seeing the piece. He read it on the spot, played it beautifully, while I held the soprano line and my MD delivered the solo.
Moments like this remind me why music is more than sound — it’s trust, growth, and shared purpose. Grateful for mentorship, music, and memories that still speak. 🙏🎹🎤
