How to password a folder on a windows computer without using any software.

Windows includes a built-in feature called "File Explorer" that allows you to password-protect your folders without the need for any additional software or app. Here are the steps to password-protect a folder in Windows:
1. Right-click on the folder you want to password-protect and select "Properties" from the context menu.
2. In the Properties window, click on the "Advanced" button.
3. In the Advanced Attributes window, check the box next to "Encrypt contents to secure data" and click "OK".
4. A pop-up window will appear asking if you want to encrypt just the folder or the folder and its contents. Choose the option that best suits your needs and click "OK".
5. Next, a confirmation window will appear. Check the box next to "Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files" and click "OK".
6. Windows will begin encrypting the folder and its contents. This may take a few minutes, depending on the size of the folder.
7. Once the encryption process is complete, the folder and its contents will be password-protected. You will need to enter a password to access the folder.
Note that once you've encrypted a folder in this way, you cannot move it to another location on your computer without first decrypting it. If you try to move the encrypted folder to another location, you will receive an error message.
You have to use your computer’s login password to unlock the folder.
