Saints,
We’re living in a world that just won’t slow down. Deadlines are looming. Pressure is mounting. It’s all about the hustle and just getting by.
In the midst of all this chaos, it’s so easy to lose sight of who we really are while we’re busy trying to secure our future.
But have you ever thought that what you’re chasing might be quietly taking God’s place in your heart?
When God is at the center, everything else falls into place. Read that again!
This isn’t just another meeting.
This is a call for REALIGNMENT.
We’d love for you to join us!

THE LEADERSHIP TENSION
When young people bring their ideas to older leaders, they often overlook the fact that most leaders don’t just see the potential; they’re also weighing the risks.
For young passionate David, “We’re going to win.”
But Saul had a different perspective: “What if we lose?”
If David were to fall, it wouldn’t just shatter only Jesse’s heart. It could demoralize the entire army.
And if Goliath triumphed, Israel would find itself enslaved by the Philistines. Saul would leave a bad taste in the mouth of Jesse if Goliath killed David due to his "leadership negligence".
All these were going through Saul's mind. Leadership can be a lonely path because every decision has implications
While young dreamers see the eagerness to climb the mountain, older leaders are acutely aware of how deep the valley is below. Not all older leaders, but most.
This difference in viewpoint often leads to friction between the generations. Where this is not wisely managed, there will be exodus of young Davids to spaces where their zeal will be responsibly channeled.
From my experience, I observed that most Sauls often hesitate because they don't have what younger folks have: TIME
I could take risks, stumble, and rise again. But not my "Saul". My "Sau"l had the fate of an entire organisation hanging in the balance.
For me, a failed attempt is just a lesson learned.
For my "Saul", what I call a LESSON could spiral into a dent on his LEGACY. That’s why most older experienced leaders may come off as skeptical, or slow to act.
Note: Experience doesn't always mean expertise. Doing the SAME thing for 30 years could mean you've done ONE thing 30 times. The number of times you've done it doesn't translate to expertise. What if there are OTHER ways to get it done?
So most older leaders are not always pushing back against progress. Saul wanted a win for Israel too. Just that sometimes, they’re simply safeguarding what they’ve worked so hard to build.
If you understand this early as a young enthusiastic leader serving an older hesitant leader, you will know how best to position yourself for the good of the organisation.
You cannot be financing false teachers/prophets and yet be praying for revival.
What revival? 🤷
