Preparation is heaven’s protocol, and its importance cannot be overstated. Jesus Christ emphasized this truth when He taught that anyone who desires to build must first sit down, prepare, and count the cost. This teaches us that nothing of lasting value in God’s kingdom happens by chance, every manifestation is preceded by deliberate preparation.

God’s miracles are often preceded by intentional spiritual preparation. We can learn from the 10 virgins, the bible recorded that 5 was wise and prepared very well by taking extra oil in case the husband man delays.
Miracles don’t appear suddenly in Scripture.

They are announced, anticipated, and arranged in the spirit before they are revealed in the physical.

Let's take note of these few points;
1. God Prepares Before He Performs
Throughout Scripture, God consistently works in this order: Preparation → Manifestation
- Noah built the ark before the rain fell.
- Moses spent 40 years in Midian before leading Israel.
- Elijah repaired the altar before fire fell.
- Jesus fasted for 40 days before public ministry began.

God prepares the vessel before He releases the oil.
He prepares the ground before He sends the rain.
Manifestation without preparation produces confusion, not glory.

2. Preparation Is Proof of Expectation
You don’t prepare for what you don’t expect.
When God tells Joshua,
“Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you” (Joshua 3:5),

He was saying: Your preparation is your declaration of faith.
You fast because you expect change.
You pray because you expect movement.
You consecrate because you expect encounter.
Expectation that is not backed by preparation is mere wishful thinking.

3. Preparation Separates You from the Crowd
Everyone wants manifestation,
but few are willing to endure preparation.
Preparation often looks like:
- Waiting when you want rushing
- Obedience when it’s uncomfortable
- Discipline when no one is watching
- Faithfulness when there is no applause
This is why many admire miracles but never experience them.

Preparation is where God filters motives, purifies hearts, and builds capacity.

4. What You Don’t Prepare for Can Destroy You
Unprepared blessings become burdens.
Power without character leads to collapse.
Influence without wisdom leads to pride.
Blessings without stewardship lead to loss.
God delays manifestation not to punish us—but to protect us.
If the blessing comes before the preparation is complete, it can ruin the recipient.

5. Preparation Is Partnership with God
God does the impossible.
But He expects us to do the possible.
He sent manna, but Israel had to gather it.
He brought water from the rock, but Moses had to strike it.
He raised Lazarus, but men had to roll away the stone.
Preparation is our response to divine promise.
It is saying, “Lord, I’m ready to carry what You’re about to release.”

6. Manifestation Is a Result, Not a Surprise
When preparation is complete, manifestation is inevitable.
Fire fell because the altar was ready.
The Jordan parted because the priests stepped in.
Pentecost came because the disciples waited in obedience.
Heaven responds to readiness.

Before you pray for more, ask God to prepare you.
Before you ask for the next level, ask for the next lesson.
Before you cry for manifestation, commit to preparation.
Because in God’s economy:
Preparation always precedes manifestation.

As we step into 2026, take time to prepare, carry extra oil and may God crown your efforts with greater manifestation and desired results in Jesus Name, Amen

We all know Judas Iscariot, one of Jesus’ own disciples, when Mary poured an expensive perfume on Jesus feet spoke against it.
John 12:5-6
[5]Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
[6]This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

His words sounded noble “The poor should be helped.” Yet his heart was corrupt. He was a thief. He cared more about money than people.

This tells us that not every good-sounding speech or action comes from a good heart. People may be impressed by what they see, but God sees what they cannot which is the motive behind it.

People sometimes admire our actions and words. But the question God asks is not “What did you do?” but “Why did you do it?”

God does not look at the things people look at.
People look at the outward appearance, that's why Samuel when sent to annoint David was in a state of puzzle, God looks at the heart. He searches the heart and the intent of man.

God doesn’t just watch what we do; He examines why we do it.
Are we serving Him for recognition? Are we helping others to look good?
Are we giving to be praised, or out of love?
The book Proverbs 21:2 tells us that – “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.”

Even when we do right things, if our motivation is wrong, God knows. Judas’ theft was hidden from others, but not from God.

From Judas’ example we learn about hypocrisy. Judas was close to Jesus, walked with Him daily, yet his heart was far from God.

Letting us to know that being close to God doesn’t equal purity of heart neither do position or authority guarantee integrity.

Secret sins often lead to public downfall.
Examine your own heart. Are there areas where you are outwardly “good” but inwardly corrupt? And deal with it before it searches you out which will lead to shame, disgrace and embarrassment.

God judges not only what we say or do, but why we do it.
People may see our actions, but God sees our heart.
God honors sincerity, not showmanship.
Let every act of service, speech, and offering be motivated by love and obedience to Him.

Today, ask God to reveal your heart. Repent of any hidden selfish motives. Serve with sincerity, love with purity, and live with integrity, so that what you do in secret will glorify God openly.

Proverbs 4:23
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

To be diligent means to be careful, intentional, and responsible— the direct opposite of negligence. This means you must deliberately take responsibility for what you allow into your heart:
• the books you read
• the movies and images you watch
• the conversations you entertain
• the people you associate with
• the environments you expose yourself to

Your heart is the control center of your life. Your thoughts, words, and actions are shaped by what you store within it. Whatever you permit to enter and settle in your heart will eventually influence your behavior and your response to situations.

Luke 6:45
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

Whatever you allow in your heart can either defile you or build you up.

Matthew 15:18–19
“But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.”

How to Secure Your Heart

Fix your mind on godly, uplifting things.
Philippians 4:8
“…whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report… think on these things.”

Receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
When you receive Him, you receive forgiveness, cleansing, and a new heart.

To receive Jesus today, pray this prayer sincerely:

“Heavenly Father, I come to You repenting of my old ways. Have mercy on me.
I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior, and I receive Him into my life today.
Thank You, Father. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Congratulations, and welcome to a new life filled with divine possibilities!
Your next step is to join a Bible-believing church where you can grow, be discipled, and be guided in your new walk with Christ.

Peace to you.
