A COALITION OF PENTECOSTAL BISHOPS OF NIGERIA; Outcome of the Presidential/National Assembly Election Held on 25th Feb. 2023

As spiritual custodian of the Nation Nigeria, having participated in and observed the just concluded election, want to:

1. Thank Mr. President for keeping to his promise of giving Nigerians a free, fair, and credible election.

2. Also, thank the INEC chairman for serving the nation in a time like this.

3. However, we are calling on the INEC chairman Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu to do the needful.

- Referring to his promise to all Nigerians on 21st Nov. 2022 Captioned;

"BEYOND INEC CHAIRMAN'S REASSURANCES"

that through the BVAS there will be the electronic transmission of results from the polling unit to the portal or server, and that the INEC result viewing portal (IREV) will not be compromised.

- And, that, it will reduce human interference in our election.

- And, that, he should use his powers according to the electoral act to review the election to restore the confidence of every Nigerian in the INEC to avoid the youths flooding the streets of our nation in protest.
