I was privileged to be in the epoch - making PDP Stakeholders meeting of Oyo West Local Government held at the premises of the Council today.

The meeting, with impressive attendance, was tough but peaceful. A number of issues were thrashed and resolved to pave way for further reconciliations and smooth running of the PDP in the Local Government.

The meeting, chaired by the Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Prince Akeem Olukitibi, had in attendance, eminent leaders of the PDP in the Local Government such as the Party Chairman, Hon. Oloyo; the Council Vice Chairman, Hon. Nureni Alade; Rt. Hon. Maruf Atilola (former Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly); Alhaji Adebayo; Hon. Obabi; Prince V. B. Tella; Mrs. R. Onilenla (Oyo Central Senatorial Women Leader); Local Government Political Functionaries; Ward Party Chairmen and numerous leaders (men and women, too numerous to mention), as well as Hon. Tirimisiyu (PDP SW Exco Member) and I on ground to address them.

At the end, it was clear that the PDP in Oyo West Local Government is solid with their unwavering support for the Administration and Leadership of Engineer Oluwaseyi Makinde.
Indeed, PDP is alive and active in Oyo Federal Constituency!!!
