Stay focused

A young guy who was given birth into a poor family, and lost his mother at his early stage of life, had only his father to cater for him, and it wasn’t easy for his dad as a single parent, but his dad tried and did all he could to see that his son feed and dressed well, even though he wasn’t going to school like all other children.
This boy was very intelligent and brave even as he was not going to school, the boy had to start hawking in other to assist his dad. Depression tries to cheap in when he see’s his fellow children going to school, but his dad will always say to him, “my son don’t worry all will be fine”. This continued and continued, to a point he walked up to his dad and said to him, “dad you keep saying to me all will be fine, but nothing at all is getting better, till when will we continue like this? I am not going to school like my fellow children, yet you keep telling me all will be fine, when! When dad??” His father was dumbfounded and speechless for some couple of minutes, and finial said, “my son greatness is not about going to school, it’s all about how you can bring out and develop what is inside you. School helps you find out and develop what you have, but my son trust me you can develop what you have only by being FOCUSED”. The boy thought and thought over what his father said and choose to remain focused, despite what happens.
On his father’s side, he has tried all his possible best, but all to ho avail, and this things gave his father sleepless night and he began to over think, A day came his father was going back home, he was carried away by his thought that he forgot he was about to cross road, as story had it he was hit down in the middle of the road, by a vehicle on high speed, and was rushed to the hospital, but he couldn’t make it, he died.
Life became miserable and very though for the young boy, that if not for God’s intervention he would have taken away his life, but on second thought he remembered the words of his father, “You don’t need anybody to make it in life, all you need is to remain FOCUSED”. When he recalled the words of his father, he accepted his fate and choose to remain focused.
Long story cut short, fast forward to last year, after much suffering, hunger and humiliation he faced, he still was focused, an opportunity came up for those with high IQ and it was to play chess, and decode security codes, and this can only be achieved by a focused individual, he decided to try himself, remembering his father’s word, that he can only be great by bringing out what is hidden inside of him.
After the tests, he was chosen to decode the hardest security codes, he was able to decode the code even to his own amusement, and also played and win the chees competition, and that was the end of his suffering, as he was taking to work with a cyber security company, and was also sent to school to study.
After going through this story, I have chosen to remain FOCUSES despite what comes my way, and all I have to say to you is, do what makes you happy and remain focused.
