1. Poor communication- working with a large team demands effective communication and without an easy way of information dissemination, there would certainly be issues.

2. Not being conscious of the wind direction- rare but...pressure of the wind increases as high as the building, so if it's not built to control the wind, it may be at the verge of collapse.

3. Safety- Most times we assume that it's all good and fail to wear personal protective equipments. These equipments reduces exposure to hazardous materials.

On the 30th of April 2021, an eight-story building under construction collapsed with over 15 casualties,

On the 6th of July 2017, a three-story building under construction collapsed with an unknown number of casualties in Owerri.

Most of the similarities between these buildings were the fact that they were all "under construction"
