According to a reliable source, The outgoing elected Officers tenure expired on the 16th of November 2025, Re- Election was conducted last week Tuesday 25, November 2025 by the sitting chairman without
the approval of the state statutory.
A letter being addressed to the said chairman by the National president

Hello Mr. Adelure Oluwayomi; I have just been briefed that your election was not conducted by the state body!!
When the term of a chairman expires, the governor should be informed, he will also supply the forms to the intending candidates that wants to contest any office including the position of the chairman of a local government , As you know that this association is not a roadside association but a registered association under decree one part C of company and allied matters and we have a rule that is guiding us. Outgoing lg chairman cannot conduct any local government election without the governor’s approval
