The craziest thing to happen not just in Afrobeats but in music, is happening before our eyes - Shallipopi blew and platformed his two brothers , Zerrydl and Famous Pluto - all within a space of two years! 😳🤯

If he had asked, any record label or music executive would have told him that this was a bad idea. We all watched with bated breath as he went about this madness. But who are you to advise the proud King of a former planet, Pluto? Rema put it best, “Dem no dey advise breadwinner.” 😊

What made this silly plan more shocking was that it worked! Shallipopi turned his superstardom into a force multiplier that created two other breadwinners in the Uzama family, ensuring that the bread is in everyone’s bags, not just in their mouths. Genius!

Shallipopi got his mainstream break with 2023’s ‘Elon Musk’ - a smash hit that started as Yahoo boy’s anthem but ended as a possible song for a Tesla reveal. For those who thought he was a one-hit wonder, he soon cleared doubts with ‘Ex-Convict’ and went on an insane run with hits including ‘Oba Pluto’ and ‘Cast’ featuring Odumodublvck.

Same 2023, he unveiled his younger brother Zerrydl as one of his new signings in his Plutomania Records. His 1.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify is a huge success for an artiste whose career is less than six months old.
