Good morning famz, hope you had a wonderful night's rest? We bless God...

Morning confessions...

The lord is my shepherd,
I shall not be in lack,
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He restores my soul,
He leads me on the path of righteousness,
For his name's sake,
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I shall fear no evil,
For he is with me,
His rod and his staff comforts me,
He prepares a table before me,
In the presence of my enemies,
He anoints my head with oil,
My cup runs over,

SURELY, GODS GOODNESS AND MERCY'S SHALL FOLLOW ME, ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE AND I SHALL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD, FOREVER AND EVER...

AMEN๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

DREAMS...
(CHAPTER ONE)
"TURNING POINT"

---Authors POV---

Chisom is the only child of Mrs. Chinwe, a secondary school teacher. Chisom's father died when he was twelve years old, and since then life had been a little difficult for him, not because he didn't have what to eat, but because he felt constrained. Mrs. Chinwe was a deaconess at her local church and she is one of the people who "carry church on there heads". Chisom's father on the other hand was just your regular church goer, and Chisom followed in his foot steps, he believed that church was a waste of time and energy, so just go to six o'clock mass, and then you're good, no need for prayers and all those things. So when his father died, Chisom's mother started putting it as a rule that most of those church things like morning prayers, night prayers, fasting and the rest would become a compulsory must. Chisom continued like that for seven years until he entered the university were his mother's eye couldn't reach him again.

"Somi My guy how far?"a tall slim guy around twenty years of age asked
"Omo, I just dey, you nko?" Chisom replied
"Everywhere dey alright. E get wetin I been wan ask you"the guy answered Chisom
"I dey hear" Chisom said to him
"I know say you be Jew guy say you never go club before but E get one of our senior wey graduate last year, the guy don blow now and e don open club" The guy said
" JJ how e take concern me?"
"The guy dey invite every student for the club on Sunday, registration na five ka alone"
"JJ, you want make I follow you go club?"
"Omo, no be me you dey follow oh, I just wan tell you, all this you good boy nonsense, if you like dey there, you go soon see say you dey miss out. Metchew" JJ hissed and left in annoyance

---Chisoms POV---

After JJ left I felt stupid. Even though I was not a Christian, I still detested clubbing and irresponsible life. My father might not have been a Christian but he always says that been responsible was the best thing I could do for myself and my society, but now that I'm the university, living a responsible life was old school. Yes I had a girlfriend, but I've never done anything with her. JJ says am foolish, in his words...
"You be serious werey oh, how you go get girlfriend and you no dey do even common kissing, Wetin you come dey do for the relationship"
So since then I've tried to do more than just holding hands and night calls. One day I decided to "man up" and kiss Melinda my girlfriend, as I was about to perform the act, I received a called on my phone, when I checked to know who was calling, the person on the other side said that it was a butt dial, that he accidentally called me, when I turned Melinda already entered her dormitory, this was the least of all the times I've tried to do something with Melinda but it ended in failure, which eventually led to our break up. Now JJ wants me to go to party with him, hmmm anyway, there is still four days to the event, so I have enough time to convince myself to go.

After lectures the next day, I was heading home from class when I saw this beautiful lady walking alone, I was contemplating on approaching her when she walked up to me and said
"Hi, my name is Jessica, you?"
I stared at her for a few seconds before coming to my sense's
"Oh, sorry, am Chisom"
"Chisom, nice name, I want to invite you to a program on Sunday night, I'd be honored if you can make it"
The fact alone that she said nice name was a blessing to me. I took the flyer from her and read it's content
"You are the host?" I asked shocked
"Yes, is that a challenge?" She asked smiling
"No, am just jealous" I said with a smile still looking at the flyer
"Why is that?" She asked
"Nevermind, this Sunday abi, I don't know if I can make it oh, but I will try" I said and started walking away as I felt tears coming down my eyes....
