Dear Ilaye Maxwell Brown,
You are either lying, or you have issues with comprehension. I have read Al-Quran from cover to cover. My wife speaks Arabic better than she speaks English. The Quran does not say proohet Mohammed (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) is the only prophet. Rather, it says he was the last prophet and received the final revelation. You can’t even be a Muslim if you don’t believe Nabi Isa (Alayhis Salaam), AKA Jesus.
The al-Quran also refers to Christ as the Messiah (al-Masih). The Quran will either describe Jesus as Al-Masihu Isa, which translates as ‘the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus)’ (Quran 4.157 and 4.171), or as Isa ibn Mariam, which translates as ‘Yeshua (Jesus), Son of Mary.’
More Muslims bear Jesus as a name (Isa means Yeshua, or Jesus) than Christians.
In Quran 43:61, the al-Quran says Christ is coming back to Earth just before Judgment Day, which is identical to the Christian belief.
As a matter of fact, if you travel to Ethiopia, you will find more similarities between the way of life of Orthodox Ethiopian Christians, who have been practicing their Christianity unchanged for thousands of years, and Islam, than you will with the Westernised variant of Christianity largely practiced in Nigeria.
When you see a Muslim bearing Ibrahim, it is the same as Abraham. Musa is Moses. Daud is the same as David. Suleiman is Solomon. Jibril is Gabriel. Mariam is Mary. Samaila is Samuel. Ishaq (what the Yoruba Muslims call Isiaka) is Isaac. All these people (with the exception of Mariam), are considered as prophets in Islam. Even Pharaoh is in the Quran.
To the best of my knowledge, other than Paul, Muslims accept every prophet in the Judeo-Christian scriptures.
