BREAKING: US-Israeli airstrikes hammer Tehran's Mehrabad Airport again, sending massive fireballs into the night sky.

Explosions ripped through the dual-use civilian-military hub in western Tehran early March 16, 2026, lighting up the capital with intense blasts and thick black smoke plumes visible for miles. Video shows aircraft engulfed in flames and secondary detonations rocking the area near densely populated neighborhoods.

The latest hit follows repeated strikes on the same target since early March, with Israel previously claiming destruction of 16 IRGC Quds Force aircraft used for Hezbollah weapons transfers. Iran reports heavy civilian risk to Tehran's 20 million residents as fighting enters its third week with no off-ramp in sight.

Global energy markets jitter while fears mount of wider regional escalation. Prayers pour in for civilians caught in the crossfire as the war intensifies.
