In 1987, in the town of Dufuna (present-day Yobe State, Nigeria), a simple farmer digging a well struck something incredible: an ancient canoe buried deep underground.
The Mind-Blowing Facts:
• 6,000 Years Old: Radio-carbon dating proved this canoe is over 6,000 years old.
• World Record: It is officially the second-oldest canoe ever discovered in human history.
