Oladele John Nihi

I paid a working visit to the Kogi State College of Health Sciences and Technology, Idah, alongside Hon. Alonge Israel Femi, Senior Special Assistant on Digital Communications, and Hon. Eniola Olayemi, Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Mobilisation, both to the Governor of Kogi State.

During my visit, I had an executive session with the staff of the College, led by Alh. Umar Shuaib, the Provost, and student leaders jointly led by the Presidents of the Student Union Government (SUG) and the National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), College Chapter.

The session with the staff and student leaders afforded me the opportunity to listen to the gains and achievements recorded by the new leadership of the College, as well as the challenges they are facing, which will be conveyed to His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State.

I also took a tour of the College’s faculties, particularly the ongoing projects and areas that require the immediate attention of the Government.

I informed the College staff and students that His Excellency, our education-friendly Governor, will be visiting the College very soon, and that all the challenges presented will soon become a thing of the past.
