Just about a year or two years ago, two talented young Afrobeats artists (Bnxn and R***r) were at loggerheads on the supremacy of who was more talented and had more hit songs.

Their beef was so intense that it resulted in body shaming each other, it was like the fight was beyond resolution...

To my greatest surprise, the duo released a song together (Romeo Must Die) early this year...

To make it more flabbergasting they just released a joint project together (EP/album), meanwhile, R***r is having serious issues with his label boss who has been his close ally.

What does this tell you? In life, there's no permanent friend or foe

Do not create enmity with those that are supposed to be your business associates

No matter the situation never let your emotions or feelings about a person be the reason you're not associating with them

Note: During the fight, R***r insulted Bnxn that he only thrivesss and gets hit songs via featuring, today he's not just having one featuringa a song with him but a full EP/Album project😁😁

You see that particular thing they are capitalizing on to abuse you, it is your strength, don't drop it for naysayers sake...

Remember business associates open doors faster than friends, if you have a friend whom you've never discussed business nor have discourse regarding contemporary or educative with, you need to change that one...

Friends help you spend money, associates help you make them...

Think about!

In 1914 which was the year the southern protectorate and the northern protectorate were amalgamated to form a single nation called Nigeria, this nation at birth had 18 million citizens.

This year makes it 110 years since the merger, in the space of these years Nigeria has grown to a massive number of around 229 million, which makes the nation one of the fastest growing populations in history.

The more the merrier they say, but in economics the more the competitiveness, the more the number the more it becomes difficult to satisfy the human wants.

Economics primarily is set to aid in the utilisation of available scarce resources to satisfy human needs/wants which is insatiable, and will be till death.

Now the more the population grows the more resources needed to satisfy the growing population. Nigeria's population is growing faster at an accelerated pace compared to the economic growth, if it keeps going in the same direction the tussle for human satisfaction will continue to become stiff.

The available solutions are to either foster economic growth or to curb the population increment.

In 2015, China's government gave a strict family planning policy that every married couple are allowed to give birth to only one child, in 2016 it was stretched to 2 children and it keeps going till 2021.

It worked, today india which was a distant second is more populated than China, if the govt had folded their arms the population would outgrow the economy proportionally.

It is easier to attempt to control the population than the economy, at the same time the government can encourage local businesses while keeping an eye on population control.

The Nigerian government is aware we are losing skillful experts and personnels to other nations in the name of Japa for greener pastures but they know this is also another way to reduce the population.

Another aspect the government should look into is the immigration of foreigners, Nigeria is too easily accessible with no strict visa requirements.

Although more numbers means more opportunities, more potential customers but on the overall level, continuous population growth over economic growth will surely result in resources Distribution conflict
