I cry for a while before realizing that Melody is waiting for me. I wipe my tears still sniffing. I adjust my school skirt and my red platinum hair which makes me stand out. I start my walk to the cafeteria and pass by Miss Hilda who gives me a ccomforting smile. I only nod and walk pass her. I manage a smile as I head to the cafeteria to meet my Australian bestie.

"Hey! What did you eat?" I ask her as I set my butt on the chair before her. She look up from her phone and stare at me for a while.

"What?" I ask when I grew uncomfortable with the stare.

"Why were you called?" She ask and drop her phone gently on the table.

"Oh that! He, he...... I trail off thinking of what to say. I should I've prepared for her. "Oh yeah, he called to tell me to join the school play for the term saying I'm a good actress, I chuckle slightly to cover up my lie.

"Oh really? But what's his concern? You're a 12 grader, the senior class who is graduating so I don't think you need to join the school play at all," she explain narrowing her brows telling me she doesn't believe me.

"Oh Melody! He did call me for something. You know we are graduating in few months, three months so well, he called to ask me why I chose MMC for college and I explain to him that I'm into singing, I got the voice." I explain, hoping its convincing enough.

"Your lie seems to be perfect but I trust my instinct so I don't believe you. Anyways, its less of my concern since you are choosing to be secretive. What do you want for lunch?" She ask and I shake my head. Thankful that she choose not to bug me.

"I'm not hungry", I mutter the truth. I'm not feeling hungry again cos Mr Dan's words just ruin my mood.

"Why? Cos I remember you kept disturbing my ears with hungry thoughts earlier."

"Dunno know. I will just have chocolate drink." I mutter and she nods. She gets on her feet and leave to get it. I sigh as I watch her converse with the waitress. How do I tell her I'm going to be missing school for now. How? What exactly do I tell her? A tear slip from my eyes on rose thoughts and I quickly wipe them away as Melody approach with my chocolate drink.
"Anything the problem? She ask as set the tray down. She slips back into her seat and watch me open the drink.

"No." I mutter as I begin to sip my drink.
"I seriously don't know what has gotten into you. You always seem to forget that I'm your best friend and you can't keep secrets from me. I mean, you think I don't know you're lying to me and you were crying when I turned a while ago. What's happening Zan? She question again and I shake my head steadily.

"Fine, don't tell me. Just make sure your fine okay?" She resign dissapointedly and I nod. She shake her head and resume on her phone.

"Hey mum!" I greet my mum as I get into the car and at the same time waving at Melody. She have just close from school and my mum is here to pick me up like she's been doing the past few weeks.

"Hey dear! How was school today?" She ask me as I fasten my seatbelt.

"It was fine, I guess." I answer.

"You guess? Is anything wrong?" My mum ask and it was then I took the time to study her.

"Mum, I've you been crying?" I ask her as I remove the dark shade glasses on her face and her eyes are red.

"No dear". She answer quietly. I sigh and take a very long look at her. If someone had told me few months ago that my mum will be looking thin, I would I've object. My mum was a tall chubby woman but now look thin because of the recent problems in our lives. My mum who always take her time to dress and look good now dress anyhow not caring about her appearance. Who would I've thought a billionaires wife will dress as shabbily as this?

"Everything will be fine mum." I assure her holding her hands tightly as I give her a light squeeze. She nod and begins her drive home.

The light shines brightly blinding the foresight of the protectors. A great turmoil of wind brings the anticipated one, THE GUARDIAN! In her usual white material, she looks angelic and beautiful.

"Welcome"! Kira mutter as her eyes turn milky.

Thanks! Migthy PROTECTORS of Dakilando! I'm so glad to meet you all in person today. Oh my, You're just the replicas of them all, the guardian said with brim of tears in her eyes.

Selena, you're to be Rana! Janelle, Yima! Sam, Muna! Bryan, Edan! Noel, Kana! You five represents the past PROTECTORS! I've been watching you since you were born. All that happened to you was fate! Simply, fate. I'm Carly! The guardian explains and the group shiver.

Carly? You mean the one that saved the princess? Sam ask and the group nod to back her up.

Yes, I am the one! Her tone echoes.

Does it mean, Kira is the princess? Bryan ask and Janelle gasp.

She is! The only princess of DAKILANDO! Carly yells.

Wow! But how can that be? Sam ask feeling outrageous in shock.

It will always be! Fix your gazes on,the wall and see the past! She orders and Kira smile.

FLASH BACK

Carly arrives in the human world after changing her appearance. Her hands hold onto the crying baby in her hand. Suddenly, echoes of words from faraway fill her ears. She immediately sets towards the place.

I'm sorry madam, but you lost the baby! The doctor said to a loud wailing woman. Carly stands at a distance and watch the scene.

How can I loose the baby? Not again Lord! After years of waiting, I loosed my princess again! Why Lord? She begins to cry while the friendly doctor tries to console her.

No, no, this is not fair. What do I tell my husband now? That I lost my two months old baby due to my carelessness? She wail out.

Its okay Leah, the doctor consoles.

Its not okay! She scream and cries more. Carly watch her and immediately feels pity for her. She stare at the child in her hands and begins to walk towards the wailing woman who is now deserted cos the doctor has been,called to work.

Here, I gift her to you. Take good care of her cos I will be back for her, Carly mutter as she place the baby on Leah's lap.

The wailing woman, Leah stares at her in disbelief not understanding a thing. Her head snaps to the baby and look back at the woman who gift her the child.

Are you okay madam? She ask in disbelief.

Just take the child and go home to your husband. Don't worry about the resemblance cos it will be changing to your dead daughter's before you get home. Now, go! Carly order and Leah gulps. She stare at Carly for a short time before quickly getting up with a thousand thanks. She immediately leave the hospital before the woman changes her mind.

Leah kept staring at the baby as she drove back home. Her mouth open in shock when the baby eventually brought out her dead daughters resemblance.

What is happening? She ask herself in,absolute shock. She kept staring at the baby in disbelief till she got home and just like Carly had said, her husband didn't suspect a thing.

PRESENT!

Oh my goodness! Sam,exclaims.

I will be taking back my resemblance once I get to Dakilando. Kira mutter to Sam who stare at her in shock.

That was so cool! The past seeing thing! Janelle said excitement in her voice.

It is but before we get to Dakilando, you need training and practice with your powers. You have a lot to learn, you have a lot to do, Carly mutter and the group nods.

Being a protector ain't going to be easy cos Dakilando is in danger now. Its only your combinations that can open Dakilando. The old protector sealed it closed. Our mystical book is also in danger cos Asvawel, the enslaver is looking for it. We need to act fast cos only your intellects can find the book and once we do, Dakilando will be saved! Carly explains.

Wow! I love the mission! Bryan whispers to Noel.

Sounds like what I've always wanted, Noel whispered back.

So, are you ready to begin your training? Carly ask.

DEFINITELY READY! THEY ALL EXCLAIM.

END OF SEASON 1

If I rush this story, it ain't be good so I want to take it slowly. The season two will be coming out in April cos I want to take my time on it. It requires thinking and research so...... You guys should chill.

I Will entertain you guys with another story for the meantime while I get season two ready.
I may post the synopsis of the story tonight. Its an old write up of mine though.
