NATIONAL CONVENTION: GOVERNOR ALIA APPRECIATES PARTY FAITHFUL, CONGRATULATES OMALE LED RATIFIED SWC

The Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has expressed appreciation to the entire Benue family of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for their "unwavering cooperation, steadfastness, and exemplary conduct throughout the processes leading to, and during, the just-concluded National Convention held in Abuja" .

He said, "...your discipline, unity, and dedication from the ward, local government, state, and zonal congresses to the national convention no doubt have once again depicted clearly that Benue APC is undoubtedly a model of bonding and political maturity.

"This notable collective effort has significantly contributed to the success recorded at all levels of the party's democratic exercise".

Governor Alia assures the party faithful of his commitment to always provide purposeful and inclusive leadership, promising to deliver the very best in the service of both the party and the good people of Benue State.

He urges all members to sustain the commendable spirit of unity and dedication, emphasizing amongst other things that with such resolve, the journey to victory in the 2027 elections for both himself and the Leader of the party, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is already firmly on course.

The Governor also extends hearty congratulations to the State Chairman, Mr. Benjamin Omale, and his affirmed and ratified State Working Committee members on their emergence as substantive leaders of the party in the state.

Charging them to work tirelessly to strengthen party unity and advance the ideals of the APC across Benue State, the Governor Alia urged them to also consistently uphold the sanctity, integrity, and discipline of their offices,

Expressing confidence that together, greater successes lie ahead for the party, the Governor reiterates his unwavering support for the party and its leadership at all levels.

I write to commend the successful outcome of the just concluded National Convention held yesterday, which has once again demonstrated the strength, resilience, and unity of our great party.

I, James Terlumun Tor, Special Adviser to the Governor on Politics, Mobilisation, Special Duties, and Lead Point Man, Gboko LGA, extend my heartfelt congratulations to the leadership and all stakeholders who worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth and successful convention. This achievement reflects our collective commitment to progress and internal cohesion.

At this critical time, the focus must now shift towards fostering unity, reconciliation, and strategic planning, particularly in Benue State. The convention has come and gone; what lies ahead is the greater task of consolidating our strength and positioning our party for victory.

We must rally behind the administration of His Excellency Rev. Fr. Chief, Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia, the Executive Governor of Benue State, and provide the necessary support to ensure that our party remains strong, united, and electorally viable.

This is the time to close ranks, build bridges across all divides, and strategically align our structures towards winning future elections. Victory will only be possible through unity, discipline, and purposeful collaboration.
