*What is Osteonecrosis?*

Osteonecrosis is a bone disease. It results from the loss of blood supply to the bone. Without blood, the bone tissue dies. This causes the bone to collapse. It may also cause the joints that surround the bone to collapse. If you have osteonecrosis, you may have pain or be limited in your physical activity.
Osteonecrosis can develop in any bone, most often in the:

i. Thigh bone (femur).

ii. Upper arm bone (humerus).

iii. Knees.

iv. Shoulders.

v. Ankles.

It is also called:

Avascular necrosis.

Aseptic necrosis.

Ischemic necrosis.

*Symptoms*
Many people have no symptoms in the early stages of avascular necrosis. As the condition worsens, your affected joint might hurt only when you put weight on it. Eventually, you might feel the pain even when you're lying down.
Pain can be mild or severe and usually develops gradually. Pain associated with avascular necrosis of the hip might center on the groin, thigh or buttock. Besides the hip, the areas likely to be affected are the shoulder, knee, hand and foot.
Some people develop avascular necrosis on both sides (bilaterally) β€” such as in both hips or in both knees.

*Risk factors*
Risk factors for developing avascular necrosis include:

1. Trauma. Injuries, such as hip dislocation or fracture, can damage nearby blood vessels and reduce blood flow to bones.

2. Steroid use. Use of high-dose corticosteroids, such as prednisone, is a common cause of avascular necrosis. The reason is unknown, but one hypothesis is that corticosteroids can increase lipid levels in your blood, reducing blood flow.

3. Excessive alcohol use. Consuming several alcoholic drinks a day for several years also can cause fatty deposits to form in your blood vessels.

4. Bisphosphonate use. Long-term use of medications to increase bone density might contribute to developing osteonecrosis of the jaw. This rare complication has occurred in some people treated with high doses of these medications for cancers, such as multiple myeloma and metastatic breast cancer.

5. Certain medical treatments. Radiation therapy for cancer can weaken bone. Organ transplantation, especially kidney transplant, also is associated with avascular necrosis.

Medical conditions associated with avascular necrosis include:

i. Pancreatitis

ii. Diabetes

iii. Gaucher's disease

iv. HIV/AIDS

v. Systemic lupus erythematosus

vi. Sickle cell anemia

Glutathione is the mother of all antioxidant which help to mop up oxidative stress and free radicals and *CELLGEVITY* is proven to be 300% more effective in raising glutathione level than the next best alternative

*Warning Signs of Inflammatory Arthritis*

There are many forms of inflammatory arthritis;

signs that are typical for most include:

**Pain, swelling and stiffness in one or multiple joints*

**Morning stiffness in and around the affected joints lasting at least one hour*

*Pain and stiffness that worsens with inactivity and improves with physical activity*

*Reduced range of motion*

*Sometimes fever, weight loss, fatigue and/or anemia*

*How many joints does it affect?*

*Usually affects multiple joints*

Different types of inflammatory arthritis have differing patterns of joint involvement. For example rheumatoid arthritis tends to be symmetrical, involving joints on both sides of the body (e.g. both hands, both elbows, etc.) whereas psoriatic arthritis maybe symmetrical or asymmetrical

*Warning Signs of Osteoarthritis*

Very early symptoms of osteoarthritis are intermittent pain with strenuous activity; over time, the pain is present more often
Morning stiffness or stiffness after a period of inactivity, usually lasting less than 30 minutes

*Joint grinding*

*How many joints does it affect?*

Usually a few joints or a single joint, often with asymmetrical joint involvement early on (e.g. one knee may be affected but not the other)

*What joints can be affected?*
Weight-bearing joints, such as hips and knees

Neck

Lower back

Hands

*Is glutathione good for arthritis?*

In harmony, GSH is a good supplement for RA which can regulate immune cells preventing them from attacking the normal body cells. GSH can neutralize free radicals which can destroy tissues and muscles of the joints. It increases body energy and owns anti-inflammatory effect

*TESTIMONY – RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS*

I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2010. Ever since I have been going to RMS in Jos to see a rheumatologist. I am always on drugs which have so many side effects and the end result is not encouraging. I became so tired of taking these drugs I began to search for ways my body will stop attacking itself. My system had stopped reacting to the drugs I was on, and I was even on new drugs. It was during my research that I found Cellgevity from Max and Immediately got interested. I am now on my 2nd week of taking Cellgevity and I am improving drastically, my bones are getting repaired day by day and now I can even do a lot of things which I could not do before. I am so happy now that I am seeing improvement.

Cellgevity works! We have something that must be shared….

24 million Africans are living with diabetes. 90% have type 2 diabetes and 95% of them are obese.

Type 2 diabetes is caused by dying Beta cells producing insulin in the pancreas and cells resisting insulin due to inflammation.

Here's the solution;

Treat the root cause of the inflammation and maintain a normal sugar level.

Here's how to do just that πŸ‘‰πŸ½https://themagicmasterswitch.blogspot.com/2022/05/how-to-maintain-healthy-blood-sugar.html

*Inflammation* is part of your body’s defense mechanism and plays a role in the healing process.

When the body detects an intruder, it launches a biological response to try to remove it. The attacker could be a foreign body, such as a thorn, an irritant, or a pathogen.

Pathogens include bacteria, viruses, and other organisms, which cause infections.

Sometimes, the body mistakenly perceives its own cells or tissues as harmful. This reaction can lead to autoimmune diseases, such as diabetes and arthritis.

Experts believe inflammation contributes to a wide range of chronic diseases. People with these chronic conditions often have higher levels of inflammatory markers in their bodies.

In this article, you will find out more about why inflammation happens, its symptoms, and ways to resolve it.
