1) You are God Fearing

I'm not talking about going to church here, I mean the "run from sin even when no one is watching' kind of God fearing....

The "what will Jesus do?" kind of God fearing

When you are God fearing, and are led by the spirit of God, you have conquered 60% of the problems that break marriages.

2) You are HONEST, TRUTHFUL and a person of INTEGRITY.

If you tell lies to cover up your sins or to manipulate your spouse, you have opened up your relationship/marriage to problems, BECAUSE the truth always finds a way out, and anything (institution, reputation etc) built on LIES has an EXPIRY DATE.

If you always say what you mean and mean what you say, keep your words and promises, and do not promise above your capacity.
Your marriage will be full of TRUST.

3) You Forgive EASILY

If you are someone who finds it easy to forgive people and let go of offences, your marriage is already blessed in advance.

But if your own is to carry grudges like a Tortoise carrying its shell, e go hard oh. I kid you not, because offenses are bound to happen in marriage, how you go com do?
4) You LISTEN and TAKE CORRECTIONS

You see this one, it's sacrosanct.

This is a sign of HUMILITY.

If you are someone who listens to the advice and opinions of others, you are open to criticism, you like to be corrected, and you adjust accordingly, Hear Me, you are doing well, and your marriage will do well.

Your partner will be blessed to have you as their life partner.

Marriage is a place no one must go to with selfish ambitions.

Selfish People don't make good partners, only selfless ones do.

When you know how to love sacrificially, with your time, money, and all, how to love when it is and when it is not convenient, you are there already...
Your partner will enjoy you like ice cream.

6) You have good financial habit.

You know how to make money, save, and invest, in fact, may you marry somebody closely related to me in Jesus name.

But if your habit is to gamble, spend extravagantly, blow money away at parties, on shopping sprees, buy on debts, the person you will marry better come to the marriage with plenty money, plenty patience and plenty panadol.

7) You know how to say I AM SORRY.

Those three words when properly said can prevent many arguments from ever happening, and can end many disagreements in seconds...

A Person who has a problem saying those 3 words will give their partner many a headache, and heartache.

If you have all the attributes needed to have a successful marriage, but marry an unprepared and uninterested fellow, what will happen, hehehehe, what will happen, it wee shock you.

If you are lazy, you will be left behind the door. Laziness is imprisonment in poverty.

If you are hardworking, there will be plenty of opportunities for you because people like to meet with hard workers not lazy people.

Let me submit here: One of the reasons why Bishop David Oyedepo likes me is because I am a worker. I don't complain, I stretch to work. He likes me because he knows that when he calls me, I will answer. When he tells me there's something to do, am always answering him.

You don't have a chance to make it in life if you are lazy. Look for what to do before you get what you like to do.

When I finished my youth service in the year 1983, there was no white collar job. What did I do ? I went to join myself to a roadside mechanics.I made sure non of my relatives know the place so that they won't come and sympathize with me.

After that, I took on to farming...I went into real farming because I must not be found as a lazy person. At 22, for me to be eating my parents food free of charge, it's very wrong.

Today, you have people who are fighting their parents for not giving them breakfast. They say what's happening, they say"It's my momsi, she didn't give me breakfast" Your mouth should be slapped for that and all the 32teeths should remove.

Work....Open-doors await workers. Parents, teach your children to work. If they are abused at their place of work, tell them that's good for them because that is the only way to correct their brain and get them wise.

Work...let everyone in your linage be a worker in order not to end as a begger behind the door.

If you are being given welfare, don't take it for too longer time...beg the person giving you money. Say" Sir, can I get a job, can I be Washing your car? Can I be Washing your clothes? Can I be your cook?

Do something for everything that comes to your hand, otherwise you will not have value for it. There is no value for free money, it is money you labour for that stays with you.

Don't live on Dash if you don't want to dash your Destiny. Don't live on free things if you want to be free in your life, work!!!.

Workers always enjoy open doors...the open doors this ministry enjoy under Bishop David Oyedepo is not just by the anointing but by working.

I have a responsibility over my own children. As a young boy; when all my friends were playing outside, my mother would say to me, “Come in and study”. The only prerequisite for choosing a friend, according to Proverbs 13:20 is that the fellow must be wise. Remember that the beginning of wisdom is in the fear of God. If that friend is not a true child of God, your child should not befriend him or her.

Communication does not stop at friendship. The phone which almost every child has nowadays is a major tool of communication. The child must avoid evil communication on the phone too. Check the kind of movies and shows they watch on television. Don’t allow just anything because we are in a modern age; the word of God is ever relevant – if the communication is evil, it will corrupt their manners.

If you want to protect something, you must know the value of that thing because if that thing is not valuable, you won't put your heart into protecting it, so if you know the value of your marriage and you also value your marriage, you will do everything within your power to protect it.

So many of us think that marriage is just a gap or cycle that we need to fulfill. Marriage is important to God and that is why the devil is doing everything to see that it doesn't work, because he's bringing everything to attack marriage, that will tell you how important marriage is, so the way you are dealing with Satan, is not the way he's dealing, he is going extra mile to see that your marriage fails. So in situations like this, you also need to go extra mile to see that the plans of the devil never come to pass.

God has a major plan for marriage, so don't listen to people that says or takes marriage like a contract that you can just walk out from it.

What is happening in the world today is unbelievable and if you are not careful enough, you will join them. They are doing unbelievable things to the extent that they no longer acknowledged sin as sin because the day you called sin sin, is the day you will stop it.

They are making adulterous relationship i.e, relationship outside to be a normal thing for married men and women, they are presenting it in such a way that it will seem as a right thing to do

Adulterous relationship is a sin before God and man, so to protect your marriage, you must believe the wrong things the world is saying about marriage.

Marriage needs preparation, marriages don't fail in marriage, so you will know a marriage that work while you are still in a relationship.

People spend time preparing for wedding than preparing for marriage, wedding is just a day but wedding is a lifetime commitment, so if you are still single, now is the perfect time to prepare for marriage.
