An opportunity was presented to a lady 🤔 a huge amount of money, waiting for just one thing: a good business idea. Sadly, she couldn’t say anything reasonable. It reminded me that opportunities don’t only require prayer; they require preparation.

Many times, we pray for helpers, open doors, and divine lifting, but when the moment comes, are we truly ready? Preparation positions us to speak right, act right, and maximize divine moments.

My prayer is this:
Lord, prepare me for my own help.
When I meet my helper, let me not misbehave or be confused.
Put the right words in my mouth and clothe me with the fragrance of favour.

One powerful lesson from the story of Samuel the tiler is that he was prepared. He knew what he wanted and was already working towards it. Then God’s mercy stepped in and replaced labour with favour.

May we not only wait for opportunities,
may we be ready for them. 🙏
