Jesus replied, “If you want to be perfect, go sell everything you own!” Matthew 19:21a, CEVWe need to appreciate this rich young man who sincerely came to Jesus and desired to know what it takes to have eternal life. Though he obeyed the laws yet he lacked one thing – detachment from his possessions. In his quest for perfection, he approached the right person who is perfect in all His ways - Christ.Do you see a picture of yourself in this rich young man? Where are you on your walk with the Master? In a world filled with esoteric religions, drawing people away from Christ Jesus, how do you attain the perfection that God requires? As a youth/student, which site do you visit on the Internet in your quest for knowledge? Remember, if you wish to be perfect, you have no other person to turn to than Jesus Christ, the Perfect Master who paid for your salvation with His blood. If you wish to be perfect, do away with every satanic object around you and use technological gadgets with wisdom.
