🔥 THE MYSTERY OF JESU OYINGBO THE MAN WHO CALLED HIMSELF “JESUS” IN LAGOS
(A Story Many Young People Today Have Never Heard)
Lagos has seen many strange moments… but none shook the city like the arrival of one man in the late 1950s Olufunmilayo Immanuel Odumosu, better known as Jesu Oyingbo.
This wasn’t just a preacher.
This was a man who stood up one day and boldly declared:
“I am Jesus Christ. The second coming has happened. I am He.”
Some people laughed.
Some were confused.
But many believed completely.
Families left their homes, packed their belongings, and moved into his community, convinced they were living with the returned Messiah. His group grew so big that it eventually formed a full settlement with shops, businesses, workshops, and daily gatherings.
His headquarters first at Oyingbo (where the nickname came from) and later at Maryland, Lagos was filled with unusual structures, statues, lion symbols, and inscriptions like “Prince of Peace”, “Immanuel the Christ” and “Lion of Judah.” It became one of the most discussed places in Lagos.
To some, it looked holy.
To others, it looked mysterious.
Either way it drew massive attention.
In the 70s and 80s, Jesu Oyingbo became one of the most talked-about names in Nigeria. Newspapers wrote about him. People visited out of curiosity. His followers treated him with unquestionable devotion.
Every evening, he held film nights for the whole neighbourhood a very rare thing at that time. People said he was humorous, friendly, and always smiling, despite the controversies around him.
But everything changed in 1988 when he passed away at age 73.
Confusion hit his followers.
Some expected a resurrection.
It never happened.
After his passing, disputes over his properties and community leadership brought the movement to an end. Court cases followed for years until the estate was eventually taken over by his children.
Today, the story of Jesu Oyingbo remains one of the most unbelievable chapters in the spiritual history

💥 NEXT OF KIN WON’T SAVE YOUR BANK MONEY! 💥
Many Nigerians don’t know this, but let me open your eyes today 👀👇
Most of us believe that once we fill “Next of Kin” at the bank, the person automatically becomes the heir to our money when we die. We even relax, thinking “My money is safe, it will go straight to my wife/husband/child.”
My brother, my sister… it doesn’t work like that o! 😂
👉 Here’s the bitter truth:
Your Next of Kin is NOT a signatory to your account. That title alone doesn’t give them the legal right to withdraw a single kobo. If you don’t have a written WILL or clear legal instruction, your family will have to go through something called Probate Court.
⚖️ Probate is the process the bank and court use to decide who gets your money. And guess what? It’s not only long and stressful, but also expensive. While your family is mourning you, they’ll be running from bank to lawyer, from lawyer to court. 😢 And by the time it’s all done, they may lose a reasonable chunk of that money to legal fees.
Now imagine: money you sweated for, worked late nights for, even risked your health for… ending up in the hands of lawyers and the system. 💸
But wait, there’s good news! 🌟
💡 The Smart Move You Need Today:
Go to your bank and request a POD form.
POD means Payable On Death.
This simple form allows you to write the name of the exact person you want to inherit your money. That person doesn’t need to be a signatory. They don’t need to fight in court. They don’t need to beg anybody.
All they will need is your death certificate, and the bank will pay them directly. 🙌 Simple, clean, no wahala.
✅ With POD, you save your loved ones the headache, the court stress, the family quarrels, and the financial loss. You give them peace while securing your legacy.
So please, don’t just rely on “Next of Kin” when it comes to your money in the bank. That one na half-information wey dey mislead people. 🛑
👉 Do the needful today. Fill out your POD form. Protect yo
K1 WINS HEARTS WITH HUMBLE APOLOGY
Yesterday tested my patience, and I admit I fell short. To Nigerians, our youths, FAAN, and the security personnel affected — I am truly sorry.
I’m grateful to my fans at home and abroad for their support. Let’s channel this energy into showing respect for our institutions and holding ourselves to higher standards.
I will cooperate fully with the authorities to make amends.
To my global family thank you for forgiving me. I’ve heard you: Go, and sin no more.

I’ve never liked cheating. I worked hard to be top of my class, so why should someone copy and get the same glory? One day during an exam, I caught a boy copying. I didn’t keep quiet I raised my hand right in the middle of the test and said, ‘He’s cheating!’ loud enough for everyone to hear. That boy was expelled… and guess what? Nobody praised me for it." Kemi Badenoch, British politician, sharing a bold childhood memory.
