Hon. MAYEGUN EMPOWERS APC MEMBERS, SEEKS SECOND TERM SUPPORT FOR GOV. ABIODUN

The Convener of Mayegun Progressive forum Hon.Lawal Abdulghani Abidemi popularly known as the Mayegun of Aregba kingdom empowerd almost 50 APC members in Ward 2 Abeokuta South LGA during their last weekly meeting.

Hon. Mayegun as he is popularly called, embarked on empowerment programme aimed at creating job opportunities for people. He made it known to the forum that all necessary arrangements have been concluded with Abigan Global Resources Nigeria to train 21 members of Mayegun Progressive Forum across the twelve zones of ward 2. After successful training, the eligible trainees will be selected and supported with the POS machine and capital to start the business. He also distributed large sums of money to other people as Start-Ups for medium scale entrepreneurs.

At the event, the POS consultant Mr. Fabiyi Gbadegunte implored the beneficiaries to ensure they use this opportunity judiciously stating that Hon. Mayegun has proven that he is concerned about the development of people in his ward and Abeokuta South as a whole even without holding any public office.

Hon. Lawal in his remarks, stated that he vehemently focused on facilitating more good things to that forum and ward 2 as a whole as far as they remain consistent and steadfast in their activities,he noted that the forum wasn't created to compete or rival any group or persons.

He stated Further that the administration of Gov. Prince Dapo Abiodun is his Priority and it's important that all hands are on ground to make his Excellency return elected in 2023 and the only way is to Canvass support and Vote. He also urged those without PVC to ensure to register and get their cards.

Also Present at the event is Hon.Abdulkareem Abdulgafar Olalekan popularly know as Alaseyori appreciated the Mayegun progressive forum for the unalloyed support for Hon. Lawal Abidemi stating that Hon.Mayegun is a friend to everyone and he is the best person to mingle with, Alaseyori said we have to seperate politics from friendship,He is a rare leader with empathy and compassion for the masses.
