Let’s be clear and use the actual CAF rules:

📜 Article 82:
A team that refuses to continue or leaves the pitch without permission is considered to have abandoned the match.

📜 Article 83:
Covers misconduct delays, protests, and improper behavior (punishable by fines or suspensions).

📜 Article 84:
Only applies when Articles 82 AND 83 are seriously violated leading to a 3–0 automatic loss (forfeit).

Now here are the FACTS:
Senegal 🇸🇳
Walked off briefly ❌
Came back ✅
Continued the match ✅
Finished the game ✅
WON on the pitch ✅

So ask yourself:
👉 Did Senegal REFUSE to continue the match? NO.
👉 Did they ABANDON the match completely? NO.
So how does Article 84 apply 🤔? This is clearly a case of Article 83 (misconduct) and CAF already punished them correctly with fines and suspensions.

FINAL TRUTH:
✔️ Senegal was wrong to protest
❌ But they did NOT abandon the match

So Punishment? YES.
Stripping the title? VERY QUESTIONABLE.
⚽ Football must respect BOTH rules and fairness.
Because if a team can return, finish, and still lose by default
