Ita Ati Alo is an Ariya Village Experience 2025 by Motherland Reality Television.
As the curator of this experience and CEO of Motherland Reality Television, I want to share the heart behind Ita Ati Alo and sincerely appreciate everyone who made it possible.
This journey is deeply personal. It was shaped by my grandmothers, my upbringing in Ile-Ife, and my early exposure to culture, tradition, and storytelling. Even while growing up in a strong C.A.C background, I was always drawn to our heritage the arts, the rituals, and the way people shared their lived experiences.
My love for filmmaking was influenced early by my cousin, Pastor Seun Jonathan, and by assisting on PogemTV sets. Over time, that passion evolved into professional filmmaking, commercial content creation, and cultural documentation with purpose.
Through Motherland Reality Television, storytelling became central to our work. That commitment led us to powerful storytellers during the live recording of the Yoruba Wikipedia programme in collaboration with the J. Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History. From there, Ita Ati Alo took form and came to life as part of Ariya Village Experience 2025.
I am deeply grateful for the guidance of Tunde Kelani, and for the support and creative leadership of Mr. Qudus Onikeku, CEO of the J. Randle Centre, who provided not just support but an enabling space and atmosphere for this vision to thrive.
Thank you to the cast, crew, partners, and the entire management of the J. Randle Centre.
Motherland Reality Television is proud to curate experiences that preserve our stories and values.
Ita Ati Alo has been born.
It belongs to the community.
It is bigger than us.
We welcome storytellers, sponsors, collaborators, and supporters who believe in sustaining our culture and passing our stories forward.
Thank you for walking this journey with us.
See you next year.
