A Remarkable Moment With Interior Designer, Prudentia!
On getting to the site where I met my client — waiting in great expectation!
I walked into a room bathed in silent sighs,
Where beige walls wept and the curtains cried.
A chair out of place, a lamp too bright—
The morning begged for softer light.
I entered like dawn, with a measured gaze,
Sketchbook in hand, IPad with my Assistant, full of radiant ways.
“Your space,” I said, “is more than just walls,
It echoes your dreams, it listens, it calls.”
I spoke of color like a sacred hymn,
Of dusty rose and forest whim.
“Let texture dance, let lighting kiss,
Each corner should hum with mindful bliss.”
I moved through the house with whispering grace,
Aligning the soul of the living space.
The chaos bowed to my sacred flair,
As if peace had always been hiding there.
A mirror leaned back, now hung just right—
Reflecting not things, but a feeling of light.
Cushions aligned, a throw now curled,
The room transformed—no longer the world.
“Design,” I said, “is not just display,
It’s aesthetics; it’s beauty, it's taste,
It’s functionality; it’s comfort.
It’s poetry that you live in each day.
Your mind finds order, your heart finds peace,
In a room where distractions and burdens cease.”
By noon, the house no longer just stood—
It breathed, it smiled, it understood.
I sipped my tea in a space reborn,
And knew I’d met life in a fresher form.
— For the hands that build beauty from space,
A Designer who gives emotion a place.
May your hands creatively express your thoughts in a way that delights.
I don't give up on the assignment, until it is excellently finished!
