You’re sounding more like someone policing another adult’s life than someone genuinely concerned about “values.” Let’s be honest — people only start preaching maturity when it suits the narrative they want to push. A grown man being open about his past or even his lifestyle doesn’t automatically make him “wayward.” What’s actually immature is reducing a person’s entire identity to one aspect of their life while ignoring everything else they represent.
You keep throwing around words like purpose, responsibility, and legacy as if you have a monopoly on what those look like.

Purpose is not a one-size-fits-all script where everyone must live according to your personal definition of morality. Some people build impact through truth, influence, and calling out societal issues — even if their personal life doesn’t fit your “perfect image.” That doesn’t erase their voice or their relevance.
Let’s also address the hypocrisy here. Society has normalized men hiding their flaws and living double lives, but the moment someone is open — suddenly it’s a “red flag.” So what exactly do you want? Honesty or pretense? Because it sounds like you’re more comfortable with fake perfection than uncomfortable truth.
And about “ratels watching and learning” — people are not robots. Everyone has a brain to filter what they see. Admiring someone doesn’t mean copying every single aspect of their life blindly. If anything, adults should be mature enough to separate influence from personal decision-making.

Calling Vincent “wayward” doesn’t make you wise — it just makes your argument sound emotional and judgmental instead of intelligent.

If maturity is what you’re really advocating for, then start by respecting that people grow differently, live differently, and define success differently. Not everyone is trying to fit into your version of a “meaningful life.”
